John Pleasants, Disney Interactive's co-president for the video game and web division has resigned. He hinted that he did not want to leave but the having a co-president complicated matters. "I will tell you that it's a bit of a mixed thing for me. I would have also been happy to stay on. I would be misleading you if I said I wanted to leave," Pleasants said. The other co-president, James A. Pitaro, will take over. Pleasants had been chief executive of Playdom before joining Disney. Previously, he had been chief operating officer of Electronic Arts and, before that, chief executive of Ticketmaster. Let's see what Disney Interactive has in store for us now that it has only one president.
