The youth of today may be too immersed in video games. Some say it's bad but if you are going to ask Kathy Sanford, an education professor at the University of Victoria , she will most likely tell you that there is an upside to teens hooked on video games. They may even be learning how to be better future citizens. Yes, better future citizens. Through a five-year research project, Sanford is convinced that the youth of today can, and do, adapt their screen-life strategies to useful skills in the outside world. She also added that teens are learning how to formulate strategies to win by themselves and in teams, and how to be a leader.
